Bliss Design Build

Bliss Design Build serves as a comprehensive design/build contractor specializing in kitchen and bathroom remodels, room additions, and general construction tasks throughout the East Bay. Established in 2018 by Sallie Lang, the company benefits from her robust background in Japanese design, infusing projects with a blend of aesthetic appeal and functionality. As a Diamond Certified entity, Bliss Design Build is recognized for achieving the highest standards of quality and expertise in its field.

The foundation of Bliss Design Build’s operations is its dual capability in both design and construction. This structure allows the company to streamline processes from initial client consultations through to project completion, ensuring efficiency and high-quality results. By integrating design and construction phases, the team can develop plans that are not only creative but also executable and budget-friendly. This approach minimizes the typical delays and disruptions that often impact remodeling projects.

Sallie Lang emphasizes the value of communication and attentiveness in project management. The company prides itself on being detail-oriented and attentive to client needs, qualities that are reflected in Bliss Design Build's positive community reputation. Lang expands on this ethos by ensuring quality control through a unique supervisory method: each project has a dedicated supervisor and is periodically reviewed by additional supervisors to ensure comprehensive oversight. This ensures that the company maintains its commitment to high-quality standards and client satisfaction.

Bliss Design Build has achieved a high ONE AllRatings score—a super-composite rating derived from customer reviews across major platforms, optimized for both accuracy and recency. The company attributes this score to its efficient, design-driven approach that consistently meets client expectations.

While the Diamond Certified status provides a positive indicator, it is crucial to recognize that it does not eliminate the need for due diligence. Potential clients are advised to:
- Request and review detailed project timelines and expected completion dates.
- Confirm that all contracts clearly outline both design and construction phases.
- Verify the credentials and involvement of all project supervisors.
